Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026
This policy explains how Recruit Social ("we," "us") handles information on recruitsocial.com and in the Recruit Social application. We build software for staffing firms, and we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated: collected minimally, never sold, and never shared with other firms on the platform.
Information we collect
- Contact information you give us — such as your email address when you request early access or write to us.
- Workspace data — if your firm uses the Recruit Social application, the client, candidate, talent, and billing records your team enters. This data belongs to your firm; we process it only to provide the service.
- Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics on our marketing site to understand how visitors use it (pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location, device type). See "Analytics and cookies" below.
How we use information
- To provide and improve the Recruit Social service.
- To respond to your inquiries and early-access requests.
- To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share one firm's workspace data with any other firm or use it for advertising.
Where data lives and how it's protected
Application data is stored with our infrastructure provider, Supabase (hosted on AWS), which is independently certified to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Access to each firm's workspace is restricted to that firm's invited members, enforced at the database level. Sign-in is passwordless via emailed magic links.
Analytics and cookies
Our marketing site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to distinguish visitors. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by using your browser's cookie controls. The application itself does not use advertising cookies.
Your rights and choices
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
- Firms can export their workspace data from within the application at any time, and can ask us to delete their workspace entirely.
- If you're a candidate or client whose information was entered by a staffing firm using Recruit Social, that firm controls the record — contact them first, and we'll assist them in honoring your request.
Data retention
We keep workspace data for as long as the firm's account is active. Early-access emails are kept until you ask to be removed or we launch and no longer need the list.
Children
Recruit Social is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, for application customers, notify you by email.
